Quantize online courses consist of a combination of video sessions, email feedback and live chat sessions using Skype/ MSN and Crossloop remote access software. There are three different packages available designed to cover all levels of experience and provide our students with the maximum level of flexibility to meet their study requirements.The courses are run on a one to one basis and this allows students to set their own pace and start the course at a time and date of their own choosing.
Throughout the course duration students are set specific projects by the tutor to complete in their own time and at their own pace. They then receive video and email feedback from the tutor who will also provide suggestions for improvement and offer any additional tips and techniques they feel relevant. Each individuals requirements are discussed via email in advance to ensure that the course is structured to suit their specific needs and students are welcome to send their own work to the tutor for advice prior to deciding on the most appropriate package. All of the packages will contain different videos depending on the students level and chosen genre.
The courses are designed to identify and focus on the unique goals of the individual, concentrating on specific areas that will improve both creativity and musical output. Additionally there is a focus on Workflow, Motivation and Inspiration with the aim of increasing students productivity and most importantly enjoyment of the music making process.
The Complete Package targets key areas of music production and is primarily created for students who want to learn all aspects of production from the initial conception of an idea right through to the mixing and mastering phase. The tutorial videos contain a core element of information relevant to all electronic music and a variety of interchangeable videos selected specifically for the student based on their chosen genre. Beyond this students are welcome to study topics of their own choosing with the Focus Package.
