The Compass Package is designed to encompass all aspects of electronic music production required to create and importantly, finish tracks to a standard ready for release. The course is perfectly accessible to complete beginners due to the clear and logical manner used to describe even the most advanced techniques. Students with greater experience will benefit from learning advanced tips, techniques and working methodologies directly applicable to their particular genre. The tutorial videos contain a core element of information relevant to all electronic music and a variety of interchangeable videos selected specifically for the student based on their chosen genre.

The Compass Package follows a specific route based on providing students with a work flow pattern that can be followed during the course when working on their projects and after the course when creating their own music. Projects are designed to help students put the techniques they learn in the videos into practice and are backed up by fortnightly video feedback and one to one online chat sessions. The feedback and online sessions focus on ensuring the lesson material has been completely understood whilst at the same time giving students the opportunity to ask any additional questions they may have. There is also unlimited access to the tutor via email throughout the course and we aim to come back to all students on the same day they email us.

The Compass Package consists of the same videos as the Complete package. The only difference between the packages is the number of weekly feedback and online chat sessions available.

Over 60 videos with more than 11 Hours of content.
8 Projects complete with step by step notes.
4 Bespoke project feedback videos.
Weekly one to one, online chat sessions with the tutor.
Unlimited email access to the tutor during the course.
A course structure designed to be studied at the students own pace.

Based on feedback from prior and current students the course is recommended to be taken over  eight weeks. If, however, students feel that they would like to progress at a different pace this can easily be arranged.

Students taking this course will also benefit from our affiliation with Twister Tunes Recordings, with the opportunity to have their material listened to and potentially released by the label.
